I think a lot. I guess that's what happens when you run a copy department on your own and have a lot of time with your thoughts and jobs to finish for clients. But I'm always thinking and dreaming of the same thing. Maverick. My Maverick. Only a little over a week till I see him again, and I can't wait for that moment when he walks into the airport off that plane, and I can finally see him again. He'll only be here for a short while, but we're going to spend every moment together.
You see, when your special somepony, that one person you are deeply, madly in love with (Harley and Joker pun totally intended by the way), lives on another continent (for the time being) and there's long arduous months in between seeing each other, you learn to appreciate the little things. Things like their touch, their smell, that unmistakable energy that is that person. Now granted, Skype is a big help in long distance relationships, but it will never give you the touch or scent of that person. Don't get me wrong, I love spending as much time as we can on Skype with Maverick, but that personal connection when you are face to face with the love of your life is like none other. This is why I dream. Dream of the day when he will be back in the states. Back on the same continent for more than two weeks. Dream of the day when I can be with him, everyday, not just for short periods of leave time. Leave time leaves you spoiled, but as both I and Maverick know, it always goes faster then you ever thought it would.
So I guess what I'm trying to say my Dear Reader, is, treasure it. If you have that special somepony, treasure every moment you can with them. Because then when you are apart, it gives you a dream. The most wonderful dream you could ever dream. Something to look forward to. I know I'm anxiously looking forward to seeing my Maverick again, and when I do, we will both know how special we are to each other.
